New Online Application Portal for Enrollment of Home Guards Volunteers (Advertisement No. DIP/Shabdarth/Classified/0308/23-24).

Document Verification for Enrolment of Home Guard volunteers has been scheduled at Head Quarters of Directorate General of Home Guards, Raja Garden, New Delhi - 110027 (Adjacent to Shivaji College with nearest Metro Station Rajouri Garden).

Candidates are required to bring following Documents in original and one set of self-attested photocopies of all documents at their given date & time (Informed through SMS and emails of respective candidates):-

  1. 10th Class Certificate and Marks sheet.
  2. 12th class Certificate and Marks sheet.
  3. Other Educational Qualification Certificate and Mark sheet.
  4. Scheduled Cast, Scheduled tribe, Other Backward Cast Certificate.
  5. Proof as Ex-Servicemen or Ex-CAPF Personnel as per note given in the end.
  6. Proof for “Residence of Delhi” :- The candidate must bring either of following:
    1. Valid Passport.
    2. Election Commission Photo I Card.
    3. Current and valid ration card bearing his name and photograph. If the ration card is without photograph of candidate, it is required to be supported by another identity proof bearing photograph of applicant.
    4. Valid Driving License issued by Transport Dept. GNCT Delhi.
    5. Duly attested passbook of Public Sector Bank Account having photograph with residential address in Delhi.
    6. Certificate issued by competent/authorized Government authority issued by Revenue Department, GNCTD.
  7. Proof of Supporting Documents for Bonus Marks (NCC certificates, Home Guard/Civil Defence volunteer Experience proof Certificate, Civil Defence advance course certificate.
  8. Two Photographs (Same as uploaded in online application)

The certificates/documents regarding proof of Resident of Union Territory of Delhi, Education, Age and Bonus marks Document verification should have been issued before the date of publication of advertisement for enrolment i.e. 23-01-2024

Note:- ‘An ex-serviceman’ means a person, who has served in any rank whether as a combatant or non-combatant in the Regular Army, Navy and Air Force of the Indian Union and;

  • Who retired from such service after earning his/ her pension or
  • Who has been released from such service on medical grounds attributable to military service or circumstances beyond his control and awarded medical or other disability pension or
  • Who has been released/ retired or discharged at his own request, but after having earned pension or as a result of reduction in establishment; or
  • Who has been released from such service after completing the specific period of engagements, otherwise than at his own request or by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency, and has been given a gratuity; and includes personnel of the Territorial Army of the following categories, namely:-
    1. Pension holders for continuous embodied service,
    2. Persons with disability attributable to military service, and
    3. Gallantry award winners

‘Ex-CAPF personnel’ means a person, who has served in any of the Central Para Military Force Government of India fulfilling any of the four criteria in or attributable to CAPF service as imprinted above for Ex-Servicemen.
